About UCAS Extra

Did you know that there's still time to apply for a place at the University of Hertfordshire if you've already made a UCAS application but are holding no offers?  We have a small number of places available on a range of courses.  Read on to find out more...

What is Extra?

If you have applied through UCAS and are not holding any offers, you may still be able to apply for courses at the University of Hertfordshire through 'Extra'. Extra allows you to apply for courses with vacancies between the end of February and the end of June. In Extra, you can apply for one course at a time using the Track service on the UCAS website .

Am I eligible?

To use Extra you need to have:

  • already made five choices and applied for those courses
  • received decisions from all these choices

and

  • either had no offers

or

  • declined all the offers you have received.

Please note: If you decline your offers and add an Extra choice, you will not be able to accept any of your original choices later.

How does it work?

If you become eligible for Extra, a button will appear on your Track screen which you can use to apply for a course in Extra. You will then be able to use this to search for available courses at the University of Hertfordshire and apply to us.  For detailed information on how to use Extra, visit the Extra information page on the UCAS Web site.

If you're still looking for the perfect place to study, UCAS Extra could be the choice for you.  Why not log in to UCAS Track now to see if you're eligible?
