Gastroenterology - nutrition and dietetics management

Who should attend this course?

This two day course is intended for state registered Radiographers who wish to develop their role to undertake intravenous injections, and is endorsed by the College of Radiographers.

Course content

This one day course includes an update on current best practice in:

  • the management of inflammatory bowel disease
  • coeliac disease
  • irritable bowel syndrome
  • intestinal failure and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease steatohepatitis.

The day involves a series of short lectures followed by brief interactive exercises that will help you apply what you’ve learned when you return to your practice.

You will need to identify you work-related goals and do the recommended pre-reading before attending the course.

At the end of the day you will write down your own action plan that will help you implement current best practice.

A certificate of attendance will be provided for all participants
