In common with other UK universities, the University of Hertfordshire charges tuition fees for undergraduate study.
There are separate fees for:
- full-time undergraduate UK and EU students
- part-time undergraduate UK and EU students
- International undergraduate students
If you are already a University of Hertfordshire student, view 2013/14 course fees for returning Home EU students.
Sanctions for the non-payment of debts to the University
The University’s policy where the student is in debt (for tuition, accommodation or any other debt), is to:-
(i) Bar the student from returning in the following year
(ii) Bar the student from attending his/her graduation ceremony
(iii) Refuse to confer a University award.
(iv) Withhold examination results
(v) Withdraw the facilities of StudyNet
(vi) Research students may not be examined
The University may take further action where appropriate.
The University will not normally bar the student from attending re-sit examinations, provided that he/she has arranged with the Student Finance team, or the Research department, as appropriate, to pay the fee or other debt.
