High Achievers' Diamond Scholarships
This scholarship is an award to help high achieving students excel at their chosen subject.
It does not need to be repaid and should not affect other support which you might be entitled to.
High Achievers' Diamond Scholarships are funded philanthropically, both by individuals, including alumni and staff, and businesses to support academically excellent students.

How much is the scholarship worth?
£2,000 per year off the course fees for the duration of your course.
Who is the scholarship for?
You can apply for the scholarship if you:
- are applying for your first degree
- are a UK full-time student with 450 UCAS points or above, which should include at least one A and one A* grade at A level or IB diploma with 38 points
- are applying to enter your first year of a full-time University of Hertfordshire undergraduate course, which is based on campus
- supply a reference from your school's Head Teacher to support your application
UCAS tariff points must be obtained in a single year's sitting, at the first attempt.
During your studies, you'll need to maintain a 2.1 average.
Exclusions
- Students studying Foundation Degrees are not eligible for this scholarship
- Students who gain a place in Clearing are not eligible for this scholarship
Can I apply?
Yes. Application forms should be submitted before 17.00 on 13 April 2012 to be considered for entry in September 2012.
Late applications will not be considered for this scholarship.

All parts of the form need to be completed in full and any incomplete or inaccurate applications will not be considered.
How will the application be assessed?
Applications will be assessed by a selection panel after they have been checked to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria.
If successful, students will be notified by phone before receiving a confirmation letter in the post stating that they have been conditionally awarded a scholarship.

Can I receive the Chancellor's Diamond Scholarship and the High Achievers' Diamond Scholarship in the same year?
Yes
Payment details
Once your place at the University has been confirmed, you will be issued with a letter to present at registration.
This will ensure that your fee waiver is applied to your records.
The scholarship is only payable as a fee waiver. There is no cash alternative.
