DipHE Interactive Media Design (Interactive Design Institute) DipHE
About the course
The Interactive Media Design degree is about the future, about creating the spaces where people and computers meet. Interactive Media Design covers interactive media such as: websites, mobile applications, games, interactive guides to places and products, online art and advertisements, interactive installations and virtual and augmented reality systems.
Using industry standard software, you will be involved in designing and making interactive content for delivery over the Internet, on desktop and laptop computers, on mobile devices, for installations and public display, with the experience and needs of the user in mind. Interactive Media Design is about the pleasures and possibilities of using computers to work, play, entertain and to communicate ideas and information. Using interactive digital technologies, Interactive Media Design finds new ways of enabling users to tell stories and new forms for expressing ideas in a networked world. Interactive Media Design is more concerned with communication and the cultural uses of Interactive Media than its partner the BSc Interactive Media Software.
