Joint Honours
The subject
Study a foreign language as part of your degree and find a successful career in today's global market.
Graduates of UK universities who speak a foreign language are a relatively rare commodity and this can give them an advantage in the job market. They are working in all sectors of the economy, from customer service, banking and finance to PR and events management.
You can select:
- French – beginners, intermediate or advanced routes
- German – beginners, intermediate and advanced routes
- Italian – beginner's route
- Mandarin Chinese – beginner's route
- Spanish – beginners, intermediate or advanced routes
Studying a language will combine the development of listening, speaking, reading and writing skills within a practical and contemporary context.
In your third year, you can study abroad in one of our partner institutions.
