The subject

Acting and Screen Performance is a unique course specially designed to appeal to students interested in acting, drama and film but who want to keep their career options open.

If you are ambitious, outgoing, and interested in getting a good academic qualification under your belt, Acting and Screen Performance is the subject is for you.

The focus of the work will be on screen acting and the ways that acting is used in business, education, training and leisure (eg museum work).

At the end of the course you will have written and produced a short digital film.

Careers

On graduating from this course you will be ideally placed to work in areas of:

  • role-play such as in leisure and museum work
  • staff development and in business training

You can also go onto postgraduate study or training at film or drama school.

260 UCAS points. If English is not your first language, you will need an IELTS score of 6.5, TOEFL 580 (237 CBT or 92 IBT). Equivalent qualifications welcomed.
