Course content:
The aim of the course is to introduce you to the management of COPD in practice involving spirometry.
The course covers the following topics:
- Respiratory physiology and COPD
- Use of NICE guidelines on COPD
- Arterial blood gas analysis
- What spirometry measures and how to use a spirometer
- An introduction to the interpretation of the results of spirometry
