Coaching Skills for Leading
Who should attend the course?
The Coaching skills for leading course is designed for healthcare leaders who wish to enhance their leadership skills by developing a coaching approach to leading individuals and teams.
No previous experience is required to undertake the course, but students must be working in a lead role within a healthcare setting.
Course Content
The aims of the Coaching skills for leading course are to enable you to:
- understand the role of coaching in leadership,
- develop your own skills in coaching
- be able to evaluate a range of approaches to coaching.
The course content includes:
- practical coaching skills and techniques
- up-to-date theory and research that underpins coaching for leadership
- interactive exercises
- completion of a Log Book to support integration with own practice
