Chemotherapy: developing practice
Who should attend this course?
This module is intended for UK and international healthcare professionals who wish to develop their knowledge and understanding of the theories and practices that underpin the delivery of chemotherapy (SACT) to cancer and non cancer patients. It has been specifically designed for individuals who work or plan to administer chemotherapy according to the guidelines set in the Manual for Cancer Services (UK). The module may be taken as a stand alone module or as part of a post graduate award. e.g. Post Graduate Diploma or Master’s Degree
Course content:
The course is mainly based in practice with clinicians being supervised and supported by those who are currently registered to administer SACT. There is one day of class room based teaching which reflects and summarises previous learning and introduces the competency assessment
