Who should attend this course?
This Cardiac care course is designed for health professionals who hold a Professional Registration.
You will need to work with cardiac patients in hospital and community settings.
Course content
The aim of the course is to explore contemporary approaches to the management of cardiac disease in the light of the evidence base.
The course covers the following topics:

How does this module map the NHS KSF?
The course contributes to the development of knowledge and understanding for the KSF Core Dimensions.
Assessment
The assessment consists of two parts: word written assignment and a presentation.
- Part one: completion of a clinical assessment portfolio equivalent to 2,500 words
- Part two: analysis or a scenario, 2,500 words. Level 7: Completion of clinical assessment portfolio. Patient portfolio 5,000 words
