About the course
- This option gives you insight into the nature of tourism as well as an awareness of career opportunities in this diverse and growing international industry.
- This subject places it’s emphasis on the contemporary spoken language and the countries in which they are spoken, allow you to develop language skills alongside other disciplines.
- French can be studied from three different entry points: complete beginners, students who already have a GCSE or students who have an AS or A2 qualification. In the first year, you will also study English Language and Communication to enhance your linguistic understanding. Please note that for 2011 entry European Studies will no longer be offered as an option. Other alternatives are currently being explored for 2012.
Entry requirements
280 UCAS points. GCSE English language and maths at grade C or above (or equivalent). A minimum IELTS score of 6.0, TOEFL 550 (79 IBT)is required for those for whom English is not their first language.
Equivalent qualifications welcomed.
