This masters level programme offers Qualified Teacher Status for the 11-19 age range in secondary schools. Out of the thirty-six weeks of the programme, you spend twenty-four weeks on practical experience in a local secondary school. You also benefit from the knowledge and expertise of a team of practicing teachers from our partner schools.

We offer training for Art and Design, Business Education, English, Mathematics*, Modern Foreign Languages*( French, French with German, German with French, French with Spanish) and Science*.

Entry requirements

A degree (at least 50% in the subject you wish to teach) awarded by a UK university or an award recognised as equivalent.

Plus GCSE English language and mathematics at grade C or equivalent.

Personal suitability for teaching is important and is assessed at interview.

Observational experience in a State Secondary School required prior to interview.

Enhanced Criminal Record Bureau screening required.
