About the course
- In an age of rapid media convergence, this course is particularly attractive to the student who knows their future lies in the media but doesn't want to limit their options and specialise too soon.
- The Screen Cultures programme aims to provide a fresh approach to Media Studies for the 21st Century with a creative integration of theoretical concepts and media practices.
- The Screen Cultures programme is for students who want to make their careers in the new media professions, using new and established media forms. Students will have the opportunity to create podcasts, web pages, posters, video sequences, and much more.
Entry requirements
240 points from GCE A Levels (or equivalent) including a qualification in media or cultural studies, in art and design, communication studies, English literature or related subjects. Plus GCSE English language and maths at grade C or above and Key skills are accepted as equivalent. Selection may include an interview where you present creative or written work which relates to the study area.
