About the course
- You will acquire an advanced understanding of human psychology and develop competence in the application of these methods. Your studies will benefit from the knowledge gained in your other subject but Psychology Joint Honours students are not eligible for Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society.
- You will learn to critically evaluate and attempt to integrate the various approaches into everyday situations.
- You will investigate and develop an understanding of regional geography, both in a rural and urban context while studying the economic, political and social systems within which people live.
- The department is equipped with state of the art equipment including powerful PCs, printers, scanners and digitising boards, while training in the use of industry and business software will be an integral part of the programme.
Entry requirements
320 UCAS points including two A Levels at grade B. BTEC National diploma grades DDM. GCSE English language and maths at grade C or above (or equivalent). A minimum IELTS score of 6.0, TOEFL 550 (79 IBT)is required for those for whom English is not their first language.
Equivalent qualifications welcomed.

English language requirements
All students from non-majority English speaking countries require proof of English language proficiency. The following qualifications and grades will be considered
- GCSE English language grade A-C
- IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in any band)
