About the course
- An opportunity to prepare for entry and progress to degree or Master's programmes within art, design, media, music or art therapy.
- Designed to prepare you for study in the School of Art and Design or the School of Film, Music and Media.
Entry requirements
Applicants will normally have satisfactorily completed high school or secondary school and have evidence of study or commitment to study art, design, media or art therapy. You will normally have an English competence of IELTS 5.5 or above. You will be considered in relation to qualifications and experience (normally as evidenced by visual portfolio) related to the requirements of your intended Degree or Master's Programme (submission of visual portfolio may be provided through photographs on CD-Rom or electronically by e-mail) and will be advised as to areas of experience which will be required to prepare for the intended Degree or Masters Programme and a study programme developed.We are pleased to accept all qualifications included in the UCAS tariff points system (e.g. International Baccalaureate, key skills). English language requirements
All students from non-majority English speaking countries require proof of English language proficiency. The following qualifications and grades will be considered
- GCSE English language grade A-C
- IELTS 6.5 (with no less than 5.5 in any band)
Other English language tests are accepted. Please contact the International Office for details.
