Entry requirements

All Applicants

All applicants are required to demonstrate insight and commitment to the profession in their personal statements and this should be treated as a course entry requirement. Work experience is strongly recommended, as it is important that applicants have a clear and informed idea of the work of a physiotherapist. Acceptance onto the Programme is subject to both a satisfactory health assessment and a satisfactory Enhanced Criminal Records Disclosure. If applicants wish to discuss issues of a health- or disability-related nature in confidence they can contact either the Physiotherapy Admissions Tutor or the University’s Disability Service . A criminal record or caution would not necessarily preclude an applicant from enrolment onto the Programme but failure to disclose may do so. If applicants wish to discuss this in confidence they can contact the Physiotherapy Admissions Tutor. Applications should be submitted via UCAS before the mid-January deadline. Late applications will be considered at the discretion of the Admissions Tutor.
