About the course

The primary aim of the MSc Pharmacy Practice is to equip pharmacist practitioners with the core skills and competencies they require to deliver safe and effective pharmaceutical care in their practice setting.

Entry requirements

The entry requirements for the MSc Pharmacy Practice are the following:

  • Be a registered pharmacist with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB) and from 2011 with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • In addition, practitioners must have a practice site from which to operate and access to patient data, and access to a practice tutor. Both practice site and tutor will have to undergo accreditation by the University of Hertfordshire.

English language requirements

All students from non-majority English speaking countries require proof of English language proficiency. The following qualifications and grades will be considered

- GCSE English language grade A-C
- IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in any band)

Other English language tests are accepted. Please contact the International Office for details.
