Entry requirements

  • Minimum 2:1 degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical science, chemical engineering, chemistry analytical chemistry or related relevant subject (with substantial chemistry content) and an IELTS score of 7.0 with a minimum score of 6.5 in any one area.
  • Pre-sessional English is available at additional cost providing your IELTS score is a minimum of 5.5 in any band.
  • Overseas equivalent and alternative qualifications will be assessed for their equivalence to a UK 2.1 level and IELTS scores.
  • Candidates with appropriate post-degree industrial pharmacy work experience may also be considered.

English language requirements

All students from non-majority English speaking countries require proof of English language proficiency. The following qualifications and grades will be considered

- GCSE English language grade A-C
- IELTS 7.0 (with no less than 6.0 in any band)

Other English language tests are accepted. Please contact the International Office for details.

Study routes

  • Part-time 2 years if currently employed in the UK pharmaceutical industry
  • Full-time 1 year
