About the course

Internet Engineering is an exciting area of study for anyone interested in both the hardware i.e. web platform integration, data communication and networks, and also the software i.e. virtual reality, cybersecurity.
Entry requirements
A good honours degree in electronics, computer engineering, computer technology or a closely related discipline In addition, candidates should have been exposed to relevant material at undergraduate level to sufficient depth to enable them to benefit from their chosen MSc programme.
International qualifications will be considered on the basis of their equivalence to UK qualifications, typically guided by a resource such as the National Academic Recognition Information centre (NARIC). Candidates will be required to demonstrate a suitable level of proficiency in written and spoken English. An IELTS score of 6.0 (or equivalent) would typically be required from candidates whose first language is not English.

English language requirements
All students from non-majority English speaking countries require proof of English language proficiency. The following qualifications and grades will be considered
- GCSE English language grade A-C
- IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in any band)
Other English language tests are accepted. Please contact the International Office for details.
