Over the duration of the course you will be introduced to a new and challenging way to explore the different aspects of illustration. Week by week the course will consist of:

• Introduction to a variety of illustrative styles
• Observational drawing
• Exploration of responding to word, ideas or short pieces of text
• Short exercises
• Working to a given brief or your own idea
  

By the end of course students will have an understanding of illustration as well as a portfolio of drawings and sketches.
