• Gives you the opportunity to study many different exciting areas of human biology throughout your degree.
• It can be studied in combination with a range of other subjects such as Psychology, Law, Computing Environmental Studies and Sports Studies.
• You will acquire an advanced understanding of human psychology and develop competence in the application of these methods. Your studies will benefit from the knowledge gained in your other subject but Psychology Joint Honours students are not eligible for Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society.
• You will learn to critically evaluate and attempt to integrate the various approaches into everyday situations.

Entry requirements

320 UCAS points including two A Levels at grade B and an A Level in Biology or Chemistry. GCSE English language, double science and maths at grade C or above ( or equivalent). BTEC National diploma grades DDM. A minimum IELTS score of 6.0, TOEFL 550 (79 IBT)is required for those for whom English is not their first language. Equivalent qualifications welcomed.

English language requirements

All students from non-majority English speaking countries require proof of English language proficiency. The following qualifications and grades will be considered

- GCSE English language grade A-C
- IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in any band)
