About the course

Digital Film and TV Technology

  • This new BSc Honours degree course in Film and TV Technology  has been specifically designed to offer you a thorough grounding in a broad range of digital technologies which, together with specialist skills gained in Film and TV, ensure that you are well placed to take advantage of the career opportunities within a globalised, digitally enhanced world.
  • Our purpose-built £9 million Digital Facilities Building provides 4,500 square metres of contemporary work space. Under one roof are fully-equipped computer suites, together with studios and workshops for our expanding activities in animation, music, multimedia, and video and sound. High-specification resources include recording and post-production facilities, and a media centre with HDTV studio workshop and dubbing facilities.

Entry requirements

240 UCAS points

GCSE: must include Mathematics, English Language and Science at grade C or above.

English language requirements

All students from non-majority English speaking countries require proof of English language proficiency. The following qualifications and grades will be considered

- GCSE English language grade A-C
- IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in any band)

Other English language tests are accepted. Please contact the International Office for details.
