This course leads to the highest professional qualification available in business management. You will undertake a programme of cutting edge management studies, with contributions by internationally renowned practitioners and researchers and offering contrasting perspectives on management and organisation development.

Additionally, an extensive programme of philosophy and methodology in management research will also underpin the programme of research that you will undertake as a key part of your studies. The DBA offers the opportunity for those with an enthusiasm for learning to progress beyond Master's level to gain the highest level of professional qualification available in business and management. Teaching methods

We offer a varied programme of teaching that includes facilitated seminars, practical workshops, web-based learning, case study analysis and traditional lectures. We also provide sessions by visiting staff, practitioners and consultants to give a varied perspective of the topics covered.

You will undergo two progression assessments on the programme to monitor and advise on the development of your research and a final assessment for the doctorate.

The final submission must contain a written document that presents and defends a thesis. A thesis is an intellectual position capable of being maintained by argument.

A submission may also contain other works on which the thesis and its defence are based.

You will be assigned a supervisory team who will advise you from the time you register throughout your programme
