About the course
- An ideal choice even if you have no previous experience of business before. It will give you the opportunity to develop strong intellectual abilities and a range of practical business and interpersonal skills.
- At the end of the programme you will be able to apply the knowledge and skills acquired in a wide variety of professional, vocational or postgraduate careers.
- Spanish can be studied from three different entry points: complete beginners, students who already have a GCSE or students who have an AS or A2 qualification. In the first year, you will also study English Language and Communication to enhance your linguistic understanding. Please note that for 2011 entry European Studies will no longer be offered as an option. Other alternatives are currently being explored for 2012.
Entry requirements
300 UCAS points. GCSE mathematics and English language at grade C or above (or equivalent). A minimum IELTS score of 6.0, TOEFL 550 (79 IBT)is required for those for whom English is not their first language. Equivalent qualifications welcomed.

English language requirements
All students from non-majority English speaking countries require proof of English language proficiency. The following qualifications and grades will be considered
- GCSE English language grade A-C
- IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in any band)
Other English language tests are accepted. Please contact the International Office for details.
