Support the University of Hertfordshire
The University of Hertfordshire has ten Schools of study and a vision to be internationally renowned as the UK’s leading business-facing university. We are investing in education to shape the world for future generations.
Our researchers, staff and students from around the world are working with industry to tackle some of the biggest global concerns of tomorrow.
By supporting the University today you will enable us to continue working for a better world. We are currently seeking support for the following projects:
With the world on a brink of a global food crisis, the University aims to play a vital role in shaping the development of UK and global food production, providing for future generations and helping to prevent world hunger. Our focus and expertise includes crop protection, sustainable food systems, in particular school and hospital food provision, and water management.
The University Student Trust Fund
Accessing higher education is getting more and more challenging for young people in the UK and internationally due to rising fees and funding cuts.
The University Student Trust Fund provides support so that no-one will be put off continuing their studies due to money worries, and students can access all of the opportunities and experiences that higher education offers, including Study Abroad and Student Research.
Robotics in Therapy
Innovative healthcare solutions are being developed at the University using robotics. Our pioneering research projects include: KASPAR, a child-sized robot that enhances the social and educational development of children with autism; a robotic glove for stroke rehabilitation; and a robot programmed to teach young children with diabetes how to manage their condition.
This Fund turns brilliant business ideas and ventures into a reality, establishing and securing talented students’ careers and the future of the UK economy. The Fund offers financial awards and support, alongside networking events and office space, to help students and graduates kick-start their businesses and grow their entrepreneurial ambition.
