    Access panel manufacturer Howe Green worked with the University of Hertfordshire to create a strategic business model to evaluate and gain entry to international markets.

    By taking advantage of our Knowledge Transfer Partnership initiative, the floor, wall and ceiling panel supplier was able to launch themselves into international markets with lucrative results.

  • Independent pharmacy group achieves 90% pass-rate for trainee pharmacists

    Independent pharmacy buying group, CAMRx, have benefited from pre-registration training designed to improve the competencies of trainee pharmacists. The programme has run for the last 3 years, with over 100 pharmacists trained.

  • New UV gadget kills 99% of germs on keyboards

    A pioneering gadget, which eliminates 99% of germs on computer keyboards, has been tested at the University of Hertfordshire’s Biodet laboratory.

    Clean energy for cars is achievable using a zero-carbon hydrogen energy system, which has been designed, manufactured and patented by ITM Power Plc and tested at the University of Hertfordshire.

    Working to provide retailers with the latest technology and innovation in the fields of weighing, labelling and in store operations, Herbert Retail Ltd accessed the University of Hertfordshire’s expertise through a Knowledge Transfer Partnership. This resulted in a four-fold increase in stock accuracy and a company saving of £350,000 per annum.
