How do I get invited to a School of Pharmacy MPharm interview?

You need to apply for MPharm at the University of Hertfordshire through UCAS, our standard entry requirements are shown on our website. Your form will then be screened based on your current qualifications, predicted grades and personal statement. If successful at this screening stage you will then be invited to an interview at the University of Hertfordshire.

About the interviews

The interview will take about 30 minutes and will be with a small group of other applicants. You will meet with members of the Pharmacy team who will ask you about your interest in Pharmacy and will also assess your communication skills.

The School of Pharmacy will be holding interviews for the MPharm course on the following dates:

• 28 November 2012
• 12 December 2012
• 6 February 2013
• 13 February 2013
• 27 February 2013
• 6 March 2013
• 13 March 2013
• 20 March 2013
• 27 March 2013
• 2 April 2013
• 3 April 2013

Please note your place on the MPharm course at University of Hertfordshire will only be secured if you meet the conditions of an offer.

What else happens on the day?

Your visit at the School of Pharmacy gives you the benefit to find out as much as you can about our School and it gives us the opportunity to show you what makes it a good place to study. As well as the interview, the day includes:

• guided campus tours of the College Lane campus around the School's facilities to see the laboratories and the University's facilities, including the Learning Resources Centre, student accommodation and the Forum Hertfordshire - our brand new £38million social centre.
• the chance to meet with current students and discuss with them the course and life as a student at our University.

What to bring?

You will not need to bring anything except yourself and your guests. Please note however, that part of the campus tour will be outside so remember to bring appropriate outdoor clothing.
