Course content

Our LLB (hons) Law degrees cover the academic stage of professional legal education and are recognised by the Joint Academic Stage Board of the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and Bar Standards Board (BSB).
In addition to studying the foundation subjects necessary for a qualifying law degree, our programmes allow you to select modules and specialise in a particular area of law according to your interests or career plans. If you study Commercial Law, or Government and Politics your qualifying degree will show this specific pathway - giving you a competitive edge in the employment market.
By adding one more subject to your course you can also create a Law Joint Honours degree.
Take a look at our LLB Brochure for a full list of modules available.
Added extras

We don’t just teach you the law. Our original approach provides you with the practical skills needed by employers today. By the time you graduate you will have drafted a contract, taken part in mediation, mooted in our replica crown courtroom and provided legal advice.
If this isn’t enough, on graduation you will also become a Graduate Member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, providing you with a stand-out CV when you begin looking for employment.
Students who graduate with at least a lower second class honours will also be guaranteed a place on our own Legal Practice Course.
