Our Law Clinic is an established and popular feature of the curriculum giving you the opportunity to practise your knowledge and develop your skills under the supervision of qualified and experienced solicitors.
Practical experience
Under the supervision of qualified solicitors you will be able to:
- Work collaboratively with other students
- Meet clients
- Consult on their legal issues
- Offer written advice
It was an incredible experience. It is one thing to sit in lectures and learn the law, but it is completely different to put it into practice and make it understandable too.

Our track record
Our Law Clinic was a regional leader when it opened in 2005 and it has grown from strength to strength with numerous cases being referred to us each year from local Citizens Advice Bureaux. Many past students who have worked in our Law Clinic have gone on to successful careers in the profession.
