Hertfordshire Law School

At Hertfordshire Law School, there are a range of pro bono activities to get involved with alongside your studies to help build your skills. This includes volunteering at Hertfordshire Law Clinic who provide free advice to the local community.

You could also provide support to litigants in person through our Support at Court project or design and deliver interactive presentations for schools and community groups as part of the Streetlaw project.

You will also have the opportunity to represent the School in both national and international competitions for mooting, trial advocacy, client interviewing and mediation. Over the past decade, we have earned an excellent track record in these competitions, regularly beating teams from both Oxbridge and Russell Group universities and winning national trophies. This is an invaluable experience to include on your curriculum vitae.

If you have a passion for law or criminology, join Hertfordshire Law School and we will use our passion for innovative teaching and learning opportunities to support you every step of the way in your transformation from student learner to highly skilled professional, with a rewarding graduate career ahead of you.
