Subject areas

Our Humanities programme

We have designed our humanities programme to help you explore new areas, broaden your horizons and gain a mix of skills which will be highly valued by future employers.

In your First Year at the University of Hertfordshire you can take up to four subjects from the lists below. At least one must be from subject list A.

In your Second and Final Years, you can choose to specialise in a single subject from list A, or continue studying a combination of subjects.
