Humanities courses
Our flexible humanities courses let you shape your studies around your personal interests and academic or career development needs.
As an undergraduate at the University of Hertfordshire, you can choose a single subject honours degree or broaden your horizons by studying two, three or four subjects on a combined studies programme.
For postgraduate students we offer MA degree, certificate and diploma programmes in English Literature, Creative Writing, Journalism & Media Communications and Film & Television Aesthetics as well as exciting research opportunities.

Our research has been recognised nationally and internationally, with particular strengths in English Language and Communication, English Literature, History and Philosophy.
