Some of our graduates have secured positions with F1 teams in the past and our alumni can be found employed around the globe by almost all major vehicle manufacturers.

The University of Hertfordshire has a long track-record of producing skilled engineers, technicians and managers for every branch of the automotive industry.

Our automotive engineering programme has proved to be popular with students and employers and our popularity has led to major investment by the institution in the form of our CRUDEN car simulator.

In addition, the Formula Student car project can be taken as one quarter of the final year studies. This is a challenging option and especially well-regarded by the professional race teams, which makes it an excellent step towards a motorsport career.
