Leading through Coaching (University of Hertfordshire accredited)

Course aims

  • To develop knowledge and skills in the field of leadership and coaching
  • To deepen their understanding of the role of coaching in facilitating the learning of others
  • To identify how coaching can facilitate leadership development
  • To use coaching in a leadership role

The course invites participants to develop their leadership capabilities through the use of coaching.

Throughout the course, we emphasise the effective communication and listening skills which can imbue collegiate relationships with fresh understanding.

Sessions focus on acquiring skills and understanding to engage in more meaningful and constructive interactions with others within the workplace.

The course sessions provide a reflexive space for participants to reflect on personal learning gleaned through analysis of ‘critical moments’ in order to explore and support participants’ emerging knowledge and skills as coaches.
