These courses were formerly part of the University of Hertfordshire portfolio.
Progress to a University of Hertfordshire degree
If you are taking the Foundation Edexcel Programme in Art and Design at one of the four Hertfordshire colleges, you can progress onto a University of Hertfordshire degree course, if you:
- pass the foundation programme.
- undertake specialist work relating to the degree course subject.

Oaklands College
The foundation diploma is an exciting course involving experimentation with a full range of materials.
Structured lessons in specialist workshops which will teach you skills and increase your ability to communicate your ideas.
You will have your own studio space and time to develop your work, as well as being encouraged to study the work of other artists.
