Hello from our students

Being a student at the University of Hertfordshire is full of endless opportunities.

We have a vast array of facilities which make student life a very interesting and rewarding experience.

The Forum is a student led hub of opportunities including the Student Union radio, TV and our newspaper, UniVerse.

As the entertainment centre it has played host to student bands and international acts alike such as Florence and the Machine, DJ Yoda and Example.

The University encourages students to setup and maintain their own clubs and societies which are as varied as the Poker and Trampoline Societies.

Within the School of Creative Arts students can have access to any workshop so if you fancy adding welding, computer animation or sound recording to your project the door is open for you.

We are also strongly encouraged to keep an eye on employability, gearing our projects towards potential contacts in industry and building the confidence and professionalism expected of us in the future.

Hatfield’s proximity to London opens the options for culture and nightlife with the added ability to get away from the big city and knuckle down with your studies.

To see what’s on offer at Hertfordshire, come and say hello at one of our open days.

See you soon!
