Flexible pathways

If you are a professional looking to convert your extensive work experience into a bachelor’s or Master’s degree, then our ‘flexible credit framework’ could help.

How does it work?

This framework was developed to provide improved access to Higher Education for those in work. It seeks to maximise opportunities for employees with workplace experience to gain credit and build that credit towards a University of Hertfordshire qualification.

We offer pathways in Professional Development Studies and Business and Management Studies from - small awards at certificate level to full Master’s.

Which is the right programme for me?

If you have extensive work experience and are currently in employment and are looking to obtain an Honours degree within one year to support your personal and professional development goals, try our BA (Hons) Professional Studies.

If you are a professional looking for a tailored route to a master’s degree based on your previous work experiences, try our APEL-based MSc Business and Management Studies through the 'Credit Accumulation and Transfer' (CATS) scheme. You can also contact our CPDU office for more information on this.
