Pile of booksThe School of Humanities includes the study of History, English Literature, Mass Communications, Philosphy, and English Language and Communication.

About the school

Originally based on the Wall Hall site, the School of Humanities moved to the de Havilland Campus in 2003.

Today, students are encouraged to study modules from other disciplines to help their gain additional skills and broaden their thinking.

The School continues to produce world-leading research and has recent significant research grants in recent years. It works closely with the University's Heritage Hub and also offers a range of language and media services.
