With its links to the de Havilland aircraft industry, Hatfield Technical College's roots were in Engineering. Today, the School continues to thrive and retain its close industry links.
About the school
With its highly reputable status, all of the School of Engineering and Technology's undergraduate and postgraduate programmes are accredited by one or more of the IET, IMechE and RAeS.
Today, the following areas are studied:
- Aerospace
- Automotive
- Mechanical
- Electronics
- Communications and Electrical
- Smart and Digital Technologies
Students can study in state-of-the-art facilities, which are also available to businesses and industry to hire. The School continues to carry out internationally recognised research.
