School of Creative Arts Alumni

StudioOffering courses in Design, Music, Therapies, Visual Arts, Film and Media, the School of Creative Arts is constantly pushing the boundaries of creativity.

With its roots in the St Albans School of Art, founded in the 1880s, the School is one of the oldest parts of the University.

The Hertfordshire College of Art and Design (as it became) merged with the University in 1992 and moved to its current site on the College Lane Campus in 1998.

Today, the School has fantastic industry links giving students amazing opportunities; this includes the chance to work on world-famous projects, such as the Harry Potter films.

Industry partners include Ted Baker, Sky, Tiger Aspect and Elstree Studios.

About the school

The School also has 5 research groups, has partnership organisations in Russia and Malaysia and is a Certified Apple Authorised training centre.
