Launch Of The Diamond Fund
New fund launched to recognise and support students and key projects
The University of Hertfordshire has recently launched the Diamond Fund as a new fundraising initiative. This new fund aims to recognise and support students and staff who want to realise a significant goal, and will award funds to areas that create opportunity and make a real difference.
This will include supporting students through awards, sports clubs and societies, and research and priority projects, such as KASPAR.
Thanks to the generosity of alumni and friends, £8,000 has already been raised for the Diamond Fund. However, we are aiming to increase this to £60,000 by the end of 2013.
As part of this, some of our current students will be calling former graduates in February 2013 to tell you more about the Fund, find out about alumni experiences and memories of Hertfordshire, as well as talking about ways to get involved in key initiatives.
Find out more before then, and discover where funding will be awarded.
Additionally, if you are interested in being on our Diamond Fund Disbursement Committee to help decide which projects and individuals should receive funding, or would like to speak to us about getting involved in the Diamond Fund please call +44 (0) 1707 284478 or email development@herts.ac.uk.
