The University's Heritage Hub launches its new website

The University of Hertfordshire’s Heritage Hub now has a website to bring together researchers from across the University, county and region. Projects that the Heritage Hub have been involved in include the de Havilland Airfield, the home front in World War 1, Elstree studios, and the history of the Luton hat trade.

The website also carries news of events, courses and heritage initiatives. We hope to encourage visitors to share their stories, suggest research ideas and join current projects, which includes ‘Remembering the First World War’. This project is being developed to bring together people from across the region ahead of next year’s centenary marking the start of the conflict. Alumni and friends are encouraged to have a look and think about getting involved!
