Digital Animation Students Shortlisted For Final Twelve Of Virgin Media Shorts Award
"A Brush With a Bee" nominated in the Audience category
Potential "hat trick" imminent as ceremony approaches
Digital Animation graduates, Joachim Malan and Katie Parnell from the School of Creative Arts, have been nominated in the prestigious International Virgin Media Awards with an animated movie entitled ‘A Brush with a Bee'.
This marks the third year running that a University of Hertfordshire Digital Animation student short film has been shortlisted for these awards. In the last two years Digital Animation students have won the audience award and there are high hopes for this year.
The short film is set in a small English town square where a struggling painter does battle with a bee to protect his final masterpiece from the insect's tiny hands.
