Did You Complete Your Higher Education Qualification In 200809
There is now another opportunity for some of you to let us know what you have been doing since you gained your qualification.
You may recall completing a questionnaire as part of the Higher Education Statistics Agency's (HESA) Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education (known as DLHE) survey six months after you finished your studies in 2008/09.
You may have seen information from the survey in the media – for example, in articles about Higher Education and graduate employment or in communications from your university. The information that you provided will have been really useful to your institution and the government.
There is now another opportunity for some of you to let us know what you have been doing since you gained your qualification. IFF Research, on behalf of HESA, is conducting a survey (the ‘DLHE Longitudinal Survey’) and they may send you a questionnaire. The questionnaire will ask you to detail your activities since you left university in 2008/09.
Any information you provide will help in reviewing and promoting courses and giving current students an insight into early career progression, as well as providing input to government policy development and review. If you are contacted by IFF Research (by email, post or telephone), please take time to complete the survey and return it – your participation is valuable.
You will be able to see the results of this survey on the web next summer.
You can read more about previous DLHE Longitudinal Surveys, including the findings, at www.hesa.ac.uk/DLHE_Longitudinal.
