Partner college recognised for quality and student support

CTS College in Trinidad and Tobago, a partner college of the University of Hertfordshire’s Business School and School of Computer Science, has recently been recognised for its quality assurance standards and student support services.

The College, which has Hertfordshire Business School students studying for BA(Hons) Business Administration degrees through supported distance learning (SDL), was given an award for Excellence for an Established Quality Management System at the 2012 Quality in Tertiary Education (QuITE) awards.

This award follows last year’s success of receiving an award for Student Support Services in Tertiary Education.

The 2012 awards ceremony was held on 30 November at the Trinidad Hilton hotel. Nominated for 2 out of 3 awards, for the second year running they were again awarded a prize for their work in Student Support Services in Tertiary Education.

These accolades distinguished CTS College as only one of 2 schools to win multiple awards.

Ravi Ragoonath, Academic Director for CTS College said, 'Receiving an award like this highlights CTS’ commitment to quality and ACTT’s recognition of their adherence to quality management standards. This achievement is certainly a rewarding and humbling experience and is another significant milestone in the life of CTS College.'
