There are many factors to consider when choosing a university. To help students decide whether university is the right choice, we offer a talk highlighting the following: course choices, how to make a university application and student life.

How to make a successful university application?

Preparing for the UCAS application process is an important time for students considering Higher Education.  Writing a good, well thought-out personal statement will enhance a student's application to their preferred university, it will also help in their decision making process.

This talk includes advice on the online UCAS application and how to write a good personal statement.

Student Finance

The University offers an interactive/audience participation session informing students about the funding available to them throughout their time at university.

The session looks at the following:

  • Tuition fees
  • Scholarships
  • Student loans
  • Repayments
  • Living costs
  • Budgeting
