Hertfordshire Census 1851 CD-ROM
Family History Edition
Edited by Nigel Goose
The 1851 census was the first, mature, fully reliable census to be conducted, giving information on name, address, sex, age, marital condition, family relationships, occupation and place of birth. It thus forms an invaluable resource for family historians.
This CD provides a transcription for the ancient county of Hertfordshire, fully checked by local historians, in a format which is compatible with most types of software.
