Director of Human Resources

Naomi Holloway

Naomi Holloway was appointed as Director of Human Resources in 2007 and is responsible for the management and development of the University’s 2,700 staff.

Her key achievements have been to:

• develop business partnering
• introduce a new HR and payroll system
• fully integrate staff development into the HR team

In 2009 Naomi was elected to serve for three years on the University HR Association Executive Committee.

Previously she was HR Director at Queen Mary, University of London. Naomi joined the higher education sector in 2002 having spent nine years at the Post Office, where she gained broad experience.

This included a ground-breaking role as Head of HR in a newly-formed business unit looking after corporate clients, and heading up personnel management for the retail counters division.

Naomi graduated in Applied Sociology and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
