The University of Hertfordshire is in the top 100 most international universities in the world, according to the UK’s leading higher education magazine. Times Higher Education ranked the University 52nd in the new league table.

The list was compiled using the 'international outlook' indicator, from the Times Higher Education World University rankings. This measures the university's international student numbers, its percentages of international staff and the proportion of its research papers published with a co-author from at least one country. University of Hertfordshire was placed above distinguished institutions such as the University of Southampton and the University of Bath.

The University of Hertfordshire has over 27,200 students including more than 2,800 students from 85 different countries and a global network of over 175,000 alumni. With partnerships around the world and the EU Erasmus programme, students have the chance to live, study and work in places such as the USA, China, South Africa, Australia and Spain.
